Get your gear ready, sharpen your excitement, and prepare to dive into one of Europe’s last true wild frontiers. Vertical Water is proud to present RIC 2027 – Wild Albania 2.0, the International Canyoning Meeting that will make Elbasan the meeting point for the global exploration community from May 1 to 9, 2027.
We have chosen the fantastic Kriva Resort in Elbasan as our logistical hub and official base camp—the ideal location to welcome participants, share relaxing moments, and coordinate daily descents.
🏞️ The Spirit of the Meeting: Elbasan & Wild Feeling
A strategic base in the heart of Albania, the Elbasan region offers an extraordinary concentration of time-carved limestone gorges and crystal-clear waters.
Wild Albania 2.0 is designed to bring together canyoners from all over the world for 9 consecutive days of exploration, building an unbreakable bridge between sport, camaraderie, and local culture.
🤝 Community & Sharing
RIC meetings don’t end at the bottom of the rappel. Every evening at the Kriva Resort base camp will be an opportunity to share topo maps, photos, and stories of the day, enjoy extraordinary Albanian hospitality, and forge new international friendships around the community fire.
