For our “Wild Albania 2.0 RIC 2027” gathering, we have organized a special event dedicated to cleaning up gorges with the goal of promoting environmental awareness and highlighting the importance of collaboration among canyoneers: the “TRASH CONTEST”. We have established four categories to encourage everyone to participate and to reward those who stand out in various aspects of the cleanup effort.
Contest categories
- Most trash collected
- This category will reward the group that collects the largest amount of waste. It is an opportunity to demonstrate one’s commitment to making the gorges cleaner.
- Funniest trash collected
- Here, we’ll find out who discovers the most unusual and original pieces of trash. Sometimes, truly curious objects turn up during cleanups, and this category aims to celebrate these surprising finds.
- Most toxic trash collected
- This category is dedicated to those who manage to document the discovery and removal of the most polluting piece of waste from a gorge.
- Biggest trash collected
- The prize for the most substantial piece of waste goes to the group that manages to remove the largest object from the gorge. It is essential to remember that there is strength in numbers, especially when it comes to taking care of our environment.
The importance of participation
Although there will be only one winner in each category, the primary goal is to work together to clean up the gorges. Every piece of trash collected and every small act of cleaning contributes to a healthier and more beautiful environment for everyone. Participating also serves to educate and raise awareness about the importance of keeping our natural spaces clean.
